I'm not afraid to spend good money on good food, and while I spent good money at Chez Henri, the meal was disappointing. The restaurant is a bit cramped and not terribly romantic, and the service was less than stellar. Our server was certainly friendly enough, but either didn't bother or didn't have time to check in on us as frequently as she could have (read: only once, about 15 minutes after our meal was served). Menu is limited but diverse. Truffle soup was excellent, but main course (a chicken dish) had no subtlety and was over-spiced. Wine list was sufficient but had an incredible mark-up. I've heard from many friends that the bar's Cuban sandwich is to die for, but I'm in no hurry to go back to check it out.
