Chau Chow City has the best dimsum in Boston's Chinatown. I was always taught that the bigger restaurants had better dimsum because of increased food turnover (thereby ensuring fresher food). The fact that this restaurant is fully packed every time I go means that other folks feel the same way. The food is not quite as good or interesting as what you would get in the big cities of Asia or California, but what do you expect? This is only Boston after all.
Pros: good food, lively atmosphere, cheap prices
Cons: Chinatown parking, sometimes a wait, no reservations
