There are tikis all over the place, yet I went expecting a more ""kitschy"" experience. Instead, of goatees and Aloha shirts, there were a lot of older men in blue blazers & khaki pants.
Yeah, but what about the food and drinks?
The bar is comfortable. The drinks are your usual fruity/tropical kind. The reataurant overlooks the marina, so the views are nice.
As for food: I had the Hawaiian Pork Chops, which were tender, juicy, and covered in an amazing sauce.
That said, the accompanying mashed potatoes had the familiar flavor of instant potato flakes. My salad was uninspired, despite it having ingredients that I love (artichoke hearts, mescalin greens); it didn't help that the dressing was flavorless.
Dessert was an upside: I can't remember what it was called, but it tasted like frozen chocolate mousse, and was very nice.
Pros: some good entrees, beautiful views, fun interior decor
Cons: expensive, some food: D-
