But where do we park? 9/18/2002

Sure, Vail is unsurpased in service, accomodations, terrain, snowfall and nightlife, but it certainly doesn't cater to locals. Unless you arrive at 6:30 in the morning, there are no free parking spots. And if you pay to park ""close"" (which will run you $12 a day or more) you still have to hike through the village, which is not fun - hauling gear and clomping around in ski boots. You would think they could accomodate people a little more since you drop a small fortune just to ski one day there. Pros: Terrain, Village, Snowfall Cons: Very Expensive, No parking, "The Hike" more
