Maybe my expectations were too high but I expected some great food according to my friends who have dined there before. The food was mediocre and the clientele snooty. But that's the crowd they're catering too: folk that are scared of hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants. But it caters to the ""non-Asian"" tastebuds very well and they make a very good effort to be ""authentic."" We were a little surprised that the waiter didn't know if they had white pepper.
