You won't find this kind of BBQ place anywhere else, but the Lone Star state. There are no utensils. There are no plates. What do you get? A piece of wax paper to hold on to your ribs, or beef. The meat is all cooked in an oven with ambers dating back generations--they are serious about their BBQ. You can smell the perfection in the oven before you even walk in. This isn't the original location, but it's the original family that owns the ever important ambers. If you find yourself in the Lockhart area, stop here for lunch, then plan a nap for the rest of the afternoon.
