The Mohawk River is the backdrop for the historic Glen Sanders Mansion. The white grandeur of the house against the greenery and mist of the river is like a midsummer night's dream. At the circular drive, you are greeted by a friendship walk of beautiful flowers. Inside there are rich carpets and elegant colonial decor. The ladies lounge is spotless and luxurious. Two of the most wonderful weddings we have attended were at the ""Mansion"". There are hotel rooms for guests. For more intimate dining we love the Deborah Sanders room in the historic old section of the house. We haven't seen her yet, but we can feel her benevelent presence as hostess. This room really sets the mood for love. We have never had a meal that was less than exceptional and highly recommend it for any occasion, but especially for a romantic one!
