I've tried plenty of mediocre bbq in the Seattle area and this isn't it. I will agree, the service seems less than friendly, but the food and the prices are excellent. For $5.95 you get succulent smoked brisket on croissant-type bread with grilled onions, your choice of sauce (on the side as it should be with ""real"" bbq), two sides of your choice (with the best beans I've ever had!) and a bag of chips. Most places you get this mushy, stringy slop on a store-bought bun for the same price. Rooters is Tops!
Pros: great brisket, great value
Cons: way out of town, mediocre service
