When dining The New Yorker you will soon realize what sophisticated cuisine is all about, a la the San Francisco, New Orleans and New York experience. There are maybe 3 or 4 restaurants in Utah that I consider in this league, and The New Yorker is one of them. However, after dining here a number of times, I've learned to choose from the more imaginative specials of the day than sticking to the regular menu. They're just more elaborate, tasteful... The New Yorker has both a terrific domestic wine selection as well as imported. Not as good as Metropolitan's but still very nice. Pros: wine list, pleasant ambience, the specials Cons: a bit pricey for SLC more
