The the table for two on the patio was too small. The bean soup in a cup was passable. On an empty stomach it felt good, spaced with the house bread dipped in seasoned olive oil. Though the soup cup is inexpensive, I was expecting a larger quantity. The spinach salad had pieces of apple (an un-Italian touch). Again the quanity of salad was small. The roasted walnuts and cherry tomatoes was a nice touch though. The trattoria is known for its spaghetti in meat balls and that is what I ordered. Instead of small walnut-sized meat balls I was expecting the chef served one large ball with sprinkling of cheese and the usual tomato and basil sauce. The waiter made to take away my plate even before I had finished! The saving grace was the tira-mi-su dessert and the coffee was nice! Would I go again? Mmmmmm. Probably not.
Pros: Inexpensive, Good decor, Nice toilets
Cons: Food ordinary, Service could improve, Small portions
