We have tried many sushi restaurants in the Twin Cities, and although several have decent sushi, it was not outstanding and the nonsushi choices were often lacking greatly.
Nami serves up excellent sushi with large portions at reasonable prices. In addition, the non-sushi choices were top-notch!!! We highly recommend trying the softshell crab appetizer. The sushi was cold (as it should be) and tasty. The tempura was crisp with a generous portion, and the teriyaki salmon was the best I've had (other than home-cooked). Plus, the atmosphere is very comfortable and romantic and the service was superb.
