Mountain Shop definitely has good gear, but after having gone to the place many times, I've finally had enough. Recently, I spent almost 500 bucks gearing up for a trip over a cuople days. When I came to return 1 pair of pants that didn't fit the next day (of course I lost that particular receipt), I was told I could not have a refund. Not even an exchange -- not even for just a differest *size*. I needed a receipt. And the guy telling me this was *same* guy who helped me pick the pants out about 24 hours ago. He remebered me buying it, so what's the deal? Their service and help has always been subpar. I figure if I can't get my money back at least I can warn people not to waste theirs at The Mountain Shop. There are *many* other places to go...
