As as Brit taking my first trip to NYC I was looking forward to visiting the city's famous museums. What a dissapointment.
The Guggenheim has a small permanent display and the building is very difficult to find your way around. However the worst thing has to be the staff. I have never experienced such obnoxious people working in a gallery.
Whilst looking at the cubist displays all I could hear were the guards shouting at each other about their favourite superhero and calling down to the women in the gift shop.
The women in the gift shop were an experience themselves. More suited on Rikki Lake all they did was whine about their intricate love lives and talk to customers as though they were an inconvenience.
I couldn't wait to leave this museum. The staff were horrendous though at least they've given me an amusing story to tell friends. Avoid!
