Sitar has the best Indian food in the area, bar none. I am obsessed with Indian food and have tried many places in the area. After having lived in NYC and eaten in Little Indias (Jackson Heights in Queens and E27-28th Sts on Lex), I became even more of a connaisseur. I am so excited by my recent discovery of Sitar, as they provide both Northern and Southern dishes (e.g., dosas)--a rarity in the Triangle area--have a buffet, and provide friendly, attentive service.
Pros: take-out lunch buffet, flavorful, tasty, S. & N. India food
Cons: no lunch menu, raita not cilantro-y, dnr bffet only wknds
