Born in Memphis in 1952 and lived there until age 10. I just turned 50 and in my half century the BBQ that I can still taste (and head to Memphis from time to time taste again) is Leonard's. I have traveled the country for looking for one to compare and there isn't. I am a talk show host in Dayton, Ohio and have been for 24 years and my family and listeners know Leonard's is it. It's like when my Mom and Dad drove me there in the 50's and 60's......timeless!
