Red Rock Canyon is underappreciated by the locals, deceptive at first, and surprisingly gorgeous. Even though I commute through Red Rock twice daily I am astounded every time by the size, colors, space and infinite variety of Red Rock. The monolithic cliffs look close enough to touch until you wend your way around the scenic drive or try to hike to their bases. Dawn and dusk bring amazing clarity and variety to the cliffs, while snow turns it into fairyland. You cannot visit too many times.
Pros: Spectacular, Accessible
Cons: Too many bike riders, Needs bike trails
