Elmwood ave. was my favorite place to just stroll and the unique shops I found many treasures and bargins in. In the 80's my uncle did the neon signs which really brought the strip to life. In my teens when we just would hang on Elmwood..I met the man who is now my husband. So not only is it the Elmwood strip a very unique interesting hangout...but it is romantic as well.
