The CAC is a good idea: artist's space founded for artists by artists. It contains sometimes excellent artworks and rotating shows. But it's only open on weekends 12-4, and there is no informed staff to help you understand the art. Disorganized feel -- or is it down-to-earth and homegrown? Free admission makes it a good value. Nice state park right next door.
