Given, the recipe and the quality has changed somewhat over the years, but nothing hits the spot better than the Spud variety. My mom tells me stories about Spuds from 1945, when she and her sister gathered bottle deposits at Alki Beach, and turned right around and bought an order of fish and chips to share. She claims they taste just the same as they did back then.. That's special!
