My husband and i have visited Canyon Lake at least 6 times-each time has been a pleasant experience- we have a jet-ski, he really enjoys the lake- but this last time he received a ticket for passing through the no wake area- We both think he should have had a warning, instead of getting a ticket, since we did not even know about this no wake area, he tried telling the police man, but to no avail.
Pros: pretty scenery, nice, clean area, enough police around
Cons: not enough shade, not enough tables
