The big pink palace is a great place to stay if Waikiki is your destination. It's quiet and elegant, surprising since it's located in the heart of busy Waikiki. The pool is small, but the beach is where it's at. The Royal has a long strip of beach roped off from the masses, with lounge chairs and umbrellas, which is great. The grounds are beautiful, too.
