Its remote location and a local ordinance prohibiting the traditional marquee have directly impacted attendance: Generally small crowds. This means relatively few kids at the 7-8:00 shows, so you can generally enjoy a movie without the cat-callers and kids who think a movie is a place to conduct loud conversations rather than silently watch. Additionally, they sell Coca Cola products. Regal theatres finally converted to Coke, but it was too little too late. I have loathed Pepsi products for all of my 43 years. Furthermore, the Regals in the Downingtown area are still X-Generation hangouts and it's hard to enjoy and/or hear a movie in that kind of crowd. Btw - X-Generation is a Pepsi phrase. I have one difficulty with this theatre: Management is young and inexperienced, but they are trying! They are slowly coming to the realization that the customer is king! (It's good to be king!) Pros: rocking seat, good parking, uncrowded Cons: green staff, no concession receipt, occasionally loud more
