dinner reservations for 8pm, and were 10 minutes late, the table had been given away. The place was overcrowded. We had to wait 50 minutes. When we were seated, we encountered excellent service (when you leave the table, you come back with your napkin neatly folded in your chair). The herb-encrusted filet mignon with onion-pate coating in a merlot sauce over horseradish mashed potatoes was absolutely succulent and tender as butter. Definitely worth the price tag of $27. The wine selection should be extended to include more french varieties. Then Steven, the owner, came to our table and apologized for the long wait. What a surprise, when we had finished the deserts (orange Creme brulee, should have neen warm, but was delicious) we noticed that the deserts were on the house. Who does this nowadays anymore? We will recommend Margaux to our friends, and will be back.
Pros: excellent food, excellent service
Cons: very busy, noisy
