It has been a while since I've played Riverside. Not an overly long or difficult course. Good for getting out and working on elements of your short game. They keep it in decent shape. And even though it is a public course, you can usually get a tee time. Also has a driving range for working out the kinks. They recently built a new course nearby. Haven't played it yet, but heard it is a bit more complex.
Pros: easy access, new course, driving range
Cons: difficulty
