mixed quality, consistent expense 5/20/2002

Lying somewhere between Ralph's and Whole Foods, Bristol farms is an odd mix of expensive and ordinary groceries. The deli has an excellent selection of prepared foods and meats. Produce is typically supermarket quality, and all manners of alcoholic beverages are well represented. The butcher case has never failed to please, though I always wonder how it can always appear so full. (Am I the only person who ever buys anything?) In general, I still prefer Whole Foods, but this is another excellent fallback choice. more
