We visited Stone Mountain Park this weekend. It was definitely worth the visit. Their newest attractions, Crossroads and the Great Barn, were particularly fun! Crossroads depicts a small town at the turn of the century. It resembles ""frontier town"" at the Magic Kingdom, but in a much smaller scale (of course!). You can find boutiques making everything from traditional candles to candy. Make sure to visit the 4-D theater and the new train station. The Great Barn is a large building where kids can have fun running around and collecting or throwing fruits at each other (Nerf balls). You can just pay the parking fee and enjoy the nature trails, hike Stone Mountain and seethe laser show at the end of the day. But if you are going to visit the attractions you might as well pay the all-inclusive flat fee and enjoy the day.
Pros: Fun, family oriented, Lots to do in a day, Newest attractions
Cons: Crowded on weekends
