Personally, I didn't even WANT a cake for our wedding. We set up cake tasting at Buttercream because they have a contract with Nic Island Inn, where we are having our reception. Then I met David, at Emporia/Buttercream in Minnetonka. He gave us fabulous cake samples, walked us through prices and decorating ideas and provided exemplary service. He was charming yet not condescending, helpful and not at all pushy. He is well-connected with top florists and catering directors, and we walked out with centerpiece ideas that perfectly completed the ""vision"" of what we wanted for our reception (as well as a split chocolate/Bailey's ganache/fresh raspberry cake followed by chambourd truffles). David made wedding planning fun again. I highly recommend working with Buttercream and with David for any major personal or corporate event.
