Not much to recommend; dated, tired, in need of re-hab. Room 503 has a broken soffit above the window, a wall mounted AC unit covered in plastic to keep out the cold (December) air, old bath, etc.
The Hampton Inn is just up the street, still convenient to UPMC and UPitt. It is newer, has an inviting reception and eating area, clean rooms, and the price is just about the same. Highly recommended.
And I don't work for Hampton Inns!
Pros: good value at $50
Cons: Needs rehab, older, tired
