My wife and I love the old world charm Of Galveston Island. We like it so much that we are planning to retire there, and we spend several long weekends per year. Both of the condo's we normally stay at had no available rooms so we decided to give the Victorian a try. First of all the property was under heavy construction which meant the lovely sound of hammers and power tools all day and well into the night, as well as blocked or non operational elevators and stairways. The room was basic at best, tiny mini fridge, tiny two burner stove, no cleaning supplies, AT ALL (not even a dish towel) and the view?? we had a beautiful unobstructed view of a Walmart parking lot. This place will have to step up to the standards of other propertys in town if they hope to last.

Cons: low standards, poor value for the mo, no extras
