I recently had my first Ranch 616 experience and was really impressed. The food was amazing. The waitstaff was attentive but not over-bearing. And the atmosphere was great, but totally not what I expected. It's the only resturant where I've been able to eat stuffed quail and lamb while sipping a Mexican martini...while admiring a poster of the Virigin Mary surrounded by candles, shrine-style. This is the only place I've found with Austin attitude AND exceptional food. Dinner for two of us (including appetizer and 3 drinks) was about $80. Not cheap, but worth every penny.
Pros: Amazing food, Austin atmosphere, good service
