I've been to Vail a few times and the skiing is good. Especially the back bowls. But it's extremely expensive and not family friendly. Living in the Denver Metro area, why would you drive all the way to way to Vail when you have such good skiing 30 minutes closer at Copper. Vail just has an attitude about it that money rules and skiing is secondary. I'm more concerned about skiing than what skis I have and how much I paid for my coat. Parking is extremly expensive on top of the most expensive lift ticket in the country. I just prefer to ski places with less attitude.
Pros: Back Bowls
Cons: Parking, Price
