We made two stops at the King's Palace the night we were there. The first stop was to grab a quick drink and listen to the band. Our service was terrible on the first stop, but the drink - the Beale Street Blue - was fantastic! After walking around a bit more on Beale Street we headed back for another drink and sat at the bar. Didn't leave for the rest of the night! The band was great, the people were friendly - there was college ball on the tv's - but the best thing about the night? The bartender, Chuck. Not only did he make some incredible drinks, but he was fun, funny and intelligent. Make a pit stop there and meet him if you have time!
