I frequent Friedmans, home depot and yardbirds here in santa Rosa and by far the best service is found at friedmans. I once spent three hours talking to an expert in the electric section regarding rewiring my house. I also checked a few books out at the library plus I am an EE by schooling. But with this guys help I rewired most of my house. He was great. There are the exeptions, like one not so pleasant experience we had in the kitchen redecorating section. But most of the time we get what we need here and talk to someone who knows what they are doing. Home depot has the worst service but usually the best prices.
