I was a teacher at Olive Elementary School in Vista for 1 year, plus student taught there for another 6 months.
This is a very good school with extremely caring, dedicated teachers. If your children are learning English as a second language, this school also offers the choice to enroll in bilingual classes. For the most part, school supplies are provided for the kids, especially in the lower grades.
Vista has recently enlarged their kindergarten enrollment, following the lead of other districts, to 30+ which is not the most desireable. But they stagger the schedule so that half the class starts before the other half and ends earlier as well (while the second half stays).
