It is my current landlord. Well. It is ok if you don't have any additional request. This company is very inflexible if it comes to additional request. For instance, I was trying to move in earlier and the previous tenant agrees to sublease her apt to me. The landlord still wanted to charge me the sublease fee even though the sublease fee was supposed to design for temporary tenant and I was not a temporary tenant. Then the landlord refused to clean the carpet and move in the funiture if I wanted to move in earlier. The result was I didn't move in earlier. But the landlord still didn't clean the carpet before I moved in. It sent the cleaners to clean the apt AFTER I moved in. The rent here is good but the laundry service sucks. My previous landlord charged 50 cents for both washer and dryer. This landlord charges $1.25 for each. And the washer is out of order very often. I started to live outside my home 14 years ago and I never saw a broken washer. In this year I have seen three times. What a experience. The other bad experience happened when I tried to sign the lease. The landlord has a regulation that is very bad to foreign students. They want you to prove that either you self or your relative in America earn certain salary in America during the year you have contract with this landlord. I had a difficulty to find such prove so I asked the people in this company whether there was any flexibility or not. They did come out a solution which required me to pay "5" months rents in advance. WHAT? Five months!! (In their words, it was 1 month for deposit, 1 for the first month, and the last 3 months). I finally got a friend who worked in US to cosign the contract with me. But I was very unhappy with their kind of "flexibility." I already gave them my landlord history and bank information. Why do they have so many regulations!
