Saigon Cafe located in old historic Wailuku town is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant on Maui.
They boast a huge menu of Vietnamese favorites, famous Naokee steaks, and fresh seafood.
The deep fried Opakapaka (snapper)
is drool-worthy.
They also feature an extensive vegetarian menu.
The food is always very fresh.
The portions are large and the prices are quite reasonable.
Many of their lunch plates are under $10
The Green Papaya Salad with jumbo shrimp is the best I've tasted anywhere. Reservations are a good idea for weekend evenings; they do a brisk business.
