Catherine's is another of those high end shops that women of all ages love.....but unfortunately few can afford.
As I previously reported, I was checking out downtown Iowa City in between summer and fall classes when I decided to visit stores I hadn't had a chance to shop in before.
Now, I must be honest, I wasn't actually a newcomer to Catherine's...I had visited this shop a year or so ago in search of the "perfect little black dress" to wear to a wedding. I found the dress but I also found my conscience at the same time and couldn't justify spending over $$$ for a dress I would only wear once or twice.
Don't get me wrong...Catherine's is a beautiful store and if I were 20 years younger and 20 lbs lighter I could probably talk myself into buying some of the items offered for sale....but not today.
Catherine's however, is well worth the stop if you are ever in downtown Iowa City and are looking for something special.........check it out, you might be surprised!
