One of the best art museum's that I've ever been in. There is something for everyone- modern, classical, sculpture, African, American, photo art...and the special exhibits are wonderful!
Some of the highlights include several panels from Claude Monet's Water Lillies, there is a section on American Indians and their relationship to St. Louis and a section on ancient Egypt that the kids love because it includes a Mummy.
This is something you'll definitely want to explore from the top floor down, so make sure you allot plenty of time.
