I bought a 1999 Honda CRV LX (with 135500 miles) from Thomas Toyota based at Joliet, IL, for $4500 dollars + taxes, license, title etc. In 7 days the car turned out to be a total crap, with Engine almost dead. It needed a repair for more than $4000 to change valves and major engine parts. In exact 7 days, I returned to the dealer, and told them I cannot take this car back as it is a total Rip-off. But, they argued that its a "As-Is" and will give less value to the car, if I do a trade-in. I retaliated and said it is just 7 days, I bought the car. After much arguing, they finally agreed to give only $2500 dollars. RIDICULOUS !!! as a Trade-In !!!
