Overpriced barbeque/seafood 8/1/2005

If you're in the mood for fish, but tired of Legal Seafood, this is something to try. It is a barbeque/seafood restaurant. It was hip, but not overly. No need to dress up. But don't be fooled by the casual atmosphere, expect to pay alot. 4 of us went for dinner, had a bottle of wine, one round of drinks, 2 appetizers, no dessert or coffee, and spent $250. The quality of the food was very good, and the fish was paired with sides that you would not normally get at a seafood restaurant. I had the striped bass special and it was plenty. My boyfriend had the tuna, and his portion was very small. For what we paid, I think we could find something better. Also, if I'm spending THAT much money, I like to dress up, and feel like I'm dining somewhere a little more special. Not so here. I did, however, have a DELICIOUS mojito. Lots of fun drinks on the bar menu. And the bartender was great. And my clothes smell like mesquite.... Going to have to have everything dry cleaned. more
