My 83 yr old mother called Gene Johnson Plumbing to replace a toilet supply line in a secondary bathroom. They had been used on a project in her condo the previous August. They had a "service agreement" that supposedly offered her a discount. The plumber arrived and replaced the less than $10 part in less than 1/2 hr. Total charge - $298.26. There was no breakdown of charges on her bill, just their word that it was discounted. Upon subsequent calls to local plumbers she found out the job could have been done for anywhere from $100-$150. Calls to Gene Johnson by myself and my sister questioning the charges were dismissed by the receptionist-basically we were blown off. Do not use this company. I am now in the process of notifying the BBB and Attorney General's Consumer division about their poor business practices.
