After seeing what the local dealers were charging to repair my Discovery, I put out an APB for a good independent Land Rover Specialist. I was lucky enough to have Biggs recommended to me.
I've been taking my Discovery there for over two years now. The service is excellent, the prices are comparably great (it's still a Land Rover) and they've always taken the time to explain the work that needs to be done and how they'll take care of it.
I've needed some major repair early on and since the car's been taken care by them, I've not experienced any real mechanical problems.
Best yet, my car is always clean and the parts are there and available for me to review if I want.
I think they do Lexus-es too.
