I know businesses are in existence to make money, but this business just takes the cake. Last year my basement flooded due to a sump pump failure and I had ServiceMaster out to rip up the year-old soaked and ruined carpet. John Brown Carpets apparently 'worked' with Service Master to gain a client base. They tout their service as a seamless way to get your living space back in order. The rep from John Brown had a sample of my ruined carpet when he came to my house for a sales call, he brought along "comparable;e" carpet samples. He quoted me 3 times what I had paid the year before for inferior carpet, the quote was almost to the penny the difference between my max insurance benefit and the charges from Service Master. No thank you.
