Had a small water leak at a brass fitting coming out of our home water supply line. I have peck piping experience and would have fixed it myself but just had shoulder surgery. They were very responsive but that was as far as it went. The serviceman spent no more than 1 1 /2 hours at my home and I know from experience that the peck piping repair materials that he used cost no more than about $30. They charged me $1,023 including service charge which was normally waived when they did the job. I asked for a breakdown of hours and materials which they would not provide for two weeks. I finally got in touch with the plumbing manager and was finally told that their flat plumbing rate was $190/hr which is the highest or among the highest in the area, however even at that rate the service man was in our home no more than 1 1 /2 hours on the repair so I figure that we were overcharged about 4 times what is should have cost. I spoke with the service manager who spent about 20 minutes trying to justify this crazy high amount but with my own experience in plumbing they were just really lame excuses. I was told by several people in the past not to use them because they were so high in cost but I didn't listen to their warnings. My bad and never again
