Hollow Rock used to be decent value for the money. Not any more. The dues have gone up hundreds of dollars per membership over the last few years, and now you have to pay a capital fee on top of that. Hollow Rock doesn't have any indoor courts like other tennis clubs in the Triangle but the high prices don't reflect the fact you won't have indoor facilities on rainy days and during the long winters months. While they charge members high dues, they let too many nonmembers use the Club like the outside swim teams. What's the point of joining? Also, they haven't had a Tennis Director for months.
