The Ashland County Historical Society is a great place to visit! They have a wonderful Victorian Mansion, a Carriage House that houses the second largest insect collection in the US outside of the Smithsonian as well as turn of the century industrial displays and a fabulous knitted glass display. The administrative building features a turn of the century downtown streetscape and the veterans room features military items from the Civil War to the Vietnam War. Something for everyone and a great way to spend an afternoon.
