Mercy Church is such a great church to be a part of. I moved to San Luis Obispo 10 years ago looking for a church community to be a part of. When I came to Mercy on a Sunday, I was welcomed by so many people who genuinely cared about me and included me in their lives beyond just shaking my hand and saying hello on Sunday mornings. They were passionate about God and lived out their faith on a daily basis. I learned what it means to intentionally care for people, to serve others, and share my faith. I joined a small group, where I developed lasting friendships and eventually started my own small group where more people have found a home and have come to know Jesus. God has blessed my life so much through Mercy Church.
