Stay away from Leslie Heating & Cooling!! They sold me and installed a new Amana/Goodman Furnace & outside AC unit in October 2009 in my home. They have inspected it twice a year since then. I purchased all of their suggested upgrades, in the hope/promise of extending the life of my system. I joined the $15 a month Leslie Family Plan as soon as it was offered. On June 7, 2019 Carlos (never saw him before), a Tech person, inspected my system and gave me a $2,000 estimate to replace the Evaporator Coil. ($1,500 is standard pricing.) I explained about my ten year EXTENDED warranty (Leslie claims they give a 12 year warranty on their website. Haha.) and this part should be covered but he insisted it was not. So I fired Leslie H&C and opted out of the Family Plan starting July 1, 2019. I had already auto-paid $15 (on 6/2/19) for the June 2019 Family Plan installment. Fast forward to Saturday, June 29th (90+ degrees)when I called because my AC stopped working. I was told they wouldn't come to my house. They wouldn't honor the warranty. I should call someone else. Apparently it is a dysfunctional family plan. I will be calling Amana/Goodman Consumer Affairs Dept (877-254-4729) on Monday to report Leslie H&C. I will also be contacting IL Consumer Affairs to report them. Bottom line? Stay away! They want to make money on the extended warranty AND over charge you for the parts covered by the warranty. I can't recall ever having the same Tech Person come more than once. And the Tech's repeatedly complained about the prior work and wiring. Stay Away! more
