About seven weeks ago, I became a patient at Kindred Hospital Indianapolis North. I was told that when I arrived I was unable to speak due to having a Trach.The Respiratory Therapy team weened me off my Trach in 5 weeks! When I came oriented enough to my surroundings, Physical Therapy was there to get me up and back on my feet. I am so thankful for being able to hear my voice and talk to my family and friends. No one knows how difficult it is being in the hospital and hearing your phone ring but cannot answer. With the help of all the staff that works here I have made great steps in getting back my independence. Thank you!
