This museum 'lives' in the wonderful little building that housed the village library when I was born and raised in Fenton. Miss Cady was the elderly, white-haired Lady who was the librarian. Interestingly on my first visit to the museum, it retained the scent of the A. J. Phillips Library! Friendly, very helpful staff were full of great information and even showed me a bottle cap from my grandparents' dairy, donated by folks who were doing work on the home the Cooleys built decades before I was born and where my Uncle Gene raised his family. This neighborhood, from Leroy Street to the millpond was my turf for a long time and fills a lot of good memories.
